Entry bubble If The Shoe Fits...

By: Sam | October 03, 2007 | Category: Money

Yellow Shoebuy it in every color is the motto I tend to shop by.  Wedges, peep toe pumps, flats, flip flops, sneakers-I don't discriminate.  But this love (ok, obsession) does put a strain on the wallet.

That's why over the years, I have tried very hard to watch my expenses and keep to a budget.  Tracking my spending has given me an eye-opening realization of where my money goes each month (do I really spend that much on food?) and has helped me prioritize where it should be going i.e. long-term savings.  I'll be honest, keeping to the budget is not always easy or fun and I have overspent after several trips to Manhattan.  But when I need to get back on track or just want some helpful advice for how to boost my savings, I always turn to these great sources:

Your financial links are great timing! I was just gathering my wits and focus to once again look at my (less than stellar) financial situation after I read the current sliding age scale of full retirement - yesterday! (I've now got 17 years and 4 months to go.) I just finished Lee Eisenberg's "The Number" which got me re-thinking about retirement at all.

I plan checking out some of your links! Thanks!

Yes I like the money sites, I am getting one of my businesses financially up and I subsidize it and my personal stuff is tight since I don't have alot of money to work with, I will have some sights to look at now to see if I can find hidden money, not yet getting blood out of turnip , although sometimes it seems that way, unfortunately america has this nasty drug called mocha's. Go Figure
