GreenGov

Attention federal employees!

When people complain about the way the government operates, usually nobody knows how to fix it better than those who are caught in the eye of the storm.

Now, federal employees are welcome to share their ideas and voice their opinions in the GreenGov challenge.

GreenGov is part of President Obama's signing an executive order on Federal Sustainability- where the federal government commits to leading by example and building a clean energy economy based on how it operates.

The GreenGov website allows you to submit your ideas and suggestions directly. Some of these ideas will be presented later as agencies are building their environmental plans and long-term strategies.

What suggestions do you have to make your agency more efficient?

Even if you're not a federal employee- how has your company improved its carbon footprint?

Your Phillies will probably make it the World Series, but as much as I would hate seeing it the Yankees will win the World Series. As a Cubs fan I wish I knew what it was like seeing my favorite baseball team make it to the series.

There are many other more important issues that you should tend to than Global Warming, a non issue.
Please lower taxes and create more jobs.
All indications are showing you losing the reelection in 2012.

I PERSONALLY DON'T APPROVE OF GREENGOV OR MOST OF WHAT BARACK OBAMA AND MICHELLE OBAMA DO I PERSONALLY DON'T LIKE THEM AND THINK GREENGOV WILL BE REVEALED TO BE ONE OF THERE MANY SCAMS.

I think before starting any detailed work on the Urban Planning Strategy we need to get the public's views on what the guiding principles should be for the Strategy.

The President could help a lot if he and Michelle didn't take separate jets one day apart for their jaunts to Denmark. Giving us realistic figures on how many current energy jobs will be lost by the "new green jobs" would do a lot to help his credibility. Shining a critical light on Al Gore's conclusions and publishing the opposing analysis for consideration would make me feel a lot better about our attempts to save the environment than running a contest for government employees.
